What we offer:
Quality Assurance
Adventure Activities Licensing Authority An AALA licence indicates that the provider has been inspected by AALA, with particular attention being paid to their safety management systems, and been able to demonstrate compliance with nationally accepted standards of good practice in the delivery of adventure activities to young people.
Inclusion
The fun and excitement of the outdoors is there for everyone to enjoy and yet some of our young people and their parents believe that residential courses and visits are for others and never consider participating themselves. Sometimes the reasons are personal, or are the result of cultural differences. Sometimes there is a belief that a physical disability makes participation impossible, and sometimes it is because staff feel that the young people cannot be trusted in a different and strange environment. Whatever the reason, Out of Town Action Sports (OTAS), working with the school, staff and parents/carers can usually ensure that every pupil experiences the wonderful sense of achievement that an outdoor course can give. But we must actively encourage our pupils to take advantage of the opportunities available to them. If not, certain groups will always be under represented and will miss out on the very real developmental benefits of outdoor education.
Value for money
We strive to deliver activities of the highest quality without the need to make enormous profits.
