Climbing Club
Our climbing programme is based at Phasels Wood, where the purpose built climbing wall and abseil tower offer challenges to the novice and experienced climber alike. During the colder months, we rotate around the indoor walls in the area.
For the beginner we offer an introduction to climbing, covering basic rope skills, selection of equipment and simple technique.
The more experienced climber can benefit from coaching at our Thursday night climbing club, where the emphasis is on developing skills, learning new techniques and using a wider range of equipment.
We also arrange a selection of climbing trips throughout the year, allowing the climbing skills learned on the wall to be applied to real rock.
